President and Chief Executive Officer
Patrick Dennis was named President and Chief Executive Officer in January 2018. Prior to Quantum, he served as President, CEO and a director of Guidance Software, a provider of cyber security software solutions, from May 2015 until its acquisition by OpenText in September 2017. Before joining Guidance Software, Dennis was Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of EMC's Cloud Management Division from October 2013 until April 2015, where he focused on helping enterprise IT groups make hybrid-cloud computing a meaningful part of IT strategy and was responsible for long-range planning, mergers and acquisitions, and divisional strategy. Prior to holding this position at EMC, Dennis was Group Vice President of North American Storage Sales for Oracle from March 2012 until October 2013, where he led the development of its commercial business in North America. From September 2000 to March 2012, Dennis served in various positions at EMC. Earlier in his career, he held leadership and technical roles at Eastman Kodak.
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Fuad Ahmad joined Quantum as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in April 2016. He has been a partner at FLG Partners, LLC, a leading CFO consulting and board advisory firm, since January 2013. During his time at FLG Partners, Ahmad served as a chief financial officer and advisor for several companies, including Ensighten Inc. From 2010 to 2012, he was Chief Financial Officer at Sezmi, a provider of cloud-based, turnkey video solutions for personalized and multi-screen offerings serving telecommunications, media/content and internet service provider companies. Prior to that, Ahmad spent six years as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Globalstar Inc., a public company that builds and operates low-earth orbit, satellite-based digital telecommunications systems.
Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales
Bill Britts joined Quantum as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing in August 2006, upon Quantum’s acquisition of ADIC. He served in this position until June 2011, when he was named Senior Vice President, Worldwide Marketing, Service and Business Development. In April 2012, Britts added Operations to his portfolio. In July 2013, he again assumed the role of Worldwide Sales leader. Prior to Quantum, Britts spent 12 years at ADIC, where he held numerous leadership positions, including Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing, Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Director of Marketing. Before ADIC, he served in a number of marketing and sales positions at Raychem Corp. and its subsidiary, Elo TouchSystems.
Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Shawn Hall joined Quantum in 1999 as Corporate Counsel, became Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary in 2001 and was promoted to Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary in May 2009. Prior to Quantum, Hall worked at the law firms of Skadden, Arps and Willkie Farr & Gallagher, where he practiced in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance, representing numerous public and private technology companies.
Senior Vice President, Engineering
Don Martella joined Quantum as Vice President, Automation Engineering in August 2006, upon Quantum’s acquisition of ADIC. In June 2010, he was promoted to Senior Vice President, Platform Engineering, and in April 2011 assumed his current role. Before joining Quantum, Martella served as a Vice President of Engineering and Quality at ADIC, where he spent five years in various leadership positions. Previously, he held engineering positions in the storage and process control industries.
Vice President, Product Management and Global Marketing
Molly Presley joined Quantum as Vice President, Global Marketing in September 2016. She has more than 15 years of enterprise storage experience, including 12 years as a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). From January 2014 to September 2016, she served as CMO and Executive Vice President of Global Marketing and Product Management at DataDirect Networks, a high performance computing (HPC) and data-intensive enterprise storage provider. Prior to that, Presley spent ten years as CMO and Executive Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Product Management at Spectra Logic, an archive storage vendor. She also founded the Active Archive Alliance, an industry coalition formed to educate end users on the evolving new technologies that enable reliable, online and efficient access to archived data.
